From 1992 to 2010, Dr. Levine has been continuously named in “Best Doctors in America”, “Top Doctors in Cleveland”, and “America’s Top Doctors.” Dr. Levine is past president (2006-2007) and fellow in the American Rhinologic Society and a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the Triological Society.
He currently serves as Vice President, Medical Affairs and Medical Director for Acclarent, a dedicated stand-alone ENT division of Ethicon. Prior to Ethicon’s acquisition of Acclarent, Dr. Levine served as consultant to Acclarent, a member of its Scientific Advisory Board, and worldwide lecturer, performing surgery and teaching Balloon Sinuplasty to physicians. Dr. Levine also co-authored several landmark papers on Balloon Sinuplasty.
Prior to joining Acclarent, Dr. Levine was Founding Director of the Cleveland Nasal-Sinus & Sleep Center, as well as Head of the Section of Nasal and Sinus Disorders of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Currently, Dr. Levine sees patients at the Cleveland Nasal Sinus & Sleep Center and is a member of the consultant staff of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Head and Neck Institute.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Northwestern University School of Medicine, Dr. Levine completed his general surgery training at the University Hospitals of Cleveland Ohio and his otolaryngology training at Northwestern University Medical Center.
Dr. Levine’s distinguished career includes extensive and comprehensive publications and lectures on nasal endoscopic diagnostic techniques, functional sinus surgery, and advanced applications for managing nasal and sinus disease.
